Monarch Collegiate

It is funny how a school who has so much diversity can come together when other countries are in need and fund 32 000 dollar to help out other countries. I think we can learn from this school that not to look at just how you can help yourself but how you can help others to. To make their life better.

Belonging

I think my group of friends is where i feel most belonging there is about 6 of us who hang out and we tell each other alot of things we dont fight much at all and when we do we resolve things fast. I believe that i can trust these boys to have my back when i am in trouble or need someone to talk to it gives you that sense of belonging.

Zebra

These lesson show that one person is no match for a bunch of people. If you stick together then you will be more likely to achieve your goals then if your on your own. This is shown when the scientists put the spots on the zebra and the lions would pick out the ones with spots because they can destinguish between one zebra and another. But when all huddled in a group it is hard to tell where one zebra ends and another starts.

Kim Story

I think Kim story is the most moving becasue she never gave up at the start not many people were interested in the idea to stop child labour. So she researched more and became more knowledable on the subject. To get 6000 signature is a huge accomplishment and to get the media coverage to inform other about child labour i think she is just awesome for doing that.

True Colours

I think this true colour excersise cna really help you when you are studying you no how you learn best which can make you a better student if you know how to learn. And also you can see what other poeple colours are and if you know there strengh and weakness you know what to say and what not to say.

Redefination of Happiness

I think this is the easiest way to think We. That believeing that what you have does not make up the person you are and we are all special in our own way. No matter what job your parents have, where you live, or how much money you have. We are not that much different everyone has similarities and everyone has differences it how you except other is how you will be able to think we and not me.

Voilence Prevention

I think the best way to show people how voilent realionships affect people is by showing them in a play and capturing the audience eye. My workshop went alright the kids talked alot of the bully but did not really get the whole meaning of the video. The games they did well in. The UWO students were good and lead the workshop very well.

Halloween week

I think that halloween week was not very organized we did not no what we were doing till the day of the activity. We kinda flew by the seat of our pants and certain people tried to run all of the actvities or cancel them. Dylan and I planned the one pumpkin bowl that day and we worked hard on the haunted house and overall the week turned out alright it could of been better but it turned in to a run week.

Romancing the Soul

I think this is so true people are power hungry and to have power you must have money. And money makes people happy. I agree with this i think that people should care about other more and families should stick together it is true that one person can not change the world but if we all work together we can make a difference.

Surviving Surivour

This guy who was on survivour he voted him self off the island and the chance to win the million dollar prize. He then set out on a life long journey to find happness within himself. He got feed up with the North American people asking him for interviews and commericals that he moved to Equador where the people there have not heard of Surviour nor care if he was a contestant. It just amazes me the joy that people get from vistiting and helping other people and how open these people are to letting a stranger in to there house.

Rain in Kenya

I think this is so funny that in North America when it rains people always run for cover but in Kenya where they do not have alot of possensions. When it rains they celebrate and dance in the rain. I like how these people can get so much excitment from something as simple as rain. It just goes to show how we take alot of what we have for granite and for the people in Kenya and Equador they are always happy and rejoice in something as simple as rain.

Tim Story

I really enjoyed reading about Tim's story he was this guy who was self absorbed in his own life but when volunteered at a hospital for diabled kids. It opened his eyes to the energy that these people had even tho most of them could not talk he felt the energy between him and the kids. Then when he became diagnosed with a diesease that took his eye sight he went back to the kids that he helped and they helped him so he could still paint his pictures.

Card Game

The card game was not the coolest becasue i was a low card so no one would talk to me it sucked

Blade Runner

I think it is awesome that this guy can do so well with only half of his legs. It just goes to show people that you can do what ever any able bodied person can do as her shows becasue he came in second place. It shows that all people are equal no matter how you look

Rosetta

I think this story is trying to tell us be happy with the people your around with you will live a better and more full life. It is proven that the people of Rossetta lived longer becasue they were nice to each other in the streets and they also sat and laughed together. I think if all community were like this then our world would be a better place. They have proven that it is better if your just friendly to the people around you

Rich and Poor

500 i would invest it so it grew and i could have more money in the future

5000 i would buy a car or i would put it in stock

5000000 invest some in a company and buy a nice house and car and go on a vacation

Bible Kids

I think it is important that the 10% stopped they were in a rush to get to class but they were doing a lesson on a good samaritain. It just shows that people speak and do not do. It just shows that people are followers and it takes a strong person to vere off the path and create there own path to live by.

Randy Paush

Randy Paush is a guy who is terminal ill and is dying but he does not care he is going to die. He has inspires so many people to live life to the fullest and don't be worried to die. This guy has the most energy for a dying guy i have ever seen. It kinda inspires me to live me to live my life to the fullest

Fall Clean Up

On Wednesday i am going with dylan to his grandma to rake her leaves and we are getting paided in breakfast
